Message To McCain: Shut Up!

With the Democrat primary still raging on I've had time to forget about how much I hate John McCain. But, never one to miss an opportunity to piss off his own party, old Johnny has pulled through for me and reminded us all why we wanted to shoot ourselves through the knee when he clinched the nomination.

No, I'm not talking about his masquerading around with Mike Huckabee, which led to the nauseating speculation about a Mac/Huck ticket. No sir, I'm talking about Johnny Maverick's finger wagging at the North Carolina GOP for it's ad featuring the Rev. Jeremiah Wright. Nevermind that it wasn't even an ad in support of John McCain, the old Arizona windbag still couldn't resist doing what he's best at - looking down his nose with self-righteous indignation at his own party members, calling them "out of touch with reality" for not listening to him, the all knowing nominee. Many times in primary politics Reagan's eleventh commandment is thrown out the window (at least very temporarily) and it is tolerated. But John McCain has made his career out of talking down to conservatives and treating us like children. His superiority complex is as revolting as Barack Obama's, possibly making this election the ultimate battle of egos.

I said when Johnny got the nomination he was going to have to earn my vote, and for the past couple of months the Democrats have been earning it for him. If he keeps up with this bullshit he may well unearn it.
