Clinton's Speech Sounded Like She Want's Out

With all the fire under her campaign rhetoric I was suprised when I watched parts of Hillary Clinton's speech tonight after the Indiana and North Carolina primaries. Sure I bet she was a little sombered that she lost the Tarheel state so badly but it sounded like she's really thinking of finally getting out of the race.

Clinton made a few references to how her and Obama wish the best for the party saying that she will support whoever is the candidate. This isn't 100% unusual but when you then go on to say such flattering things about your opponent one has to wonder what's going on.

But if Obama is the Democrats nominee which I believe he will be count on the old GOP attacks to come on: "Barack Obama, More Liberal Than Ted Kennedy," "Barack Obama, Only a few years in office and he's one of the most liberal senators out there."

Very Lee Atwater like might be the thinking: How can we demonize this guy? I would hope that my fellow Republicans would stic to the issues but considering the fact that the Democrats are already misleading voters about John McCain I can only hope for the best.
