Militant Myanmar Government Refuses Aid From U.S. In Wake of Cyclone

WARNING: SEVERE SARCASM FROM THIS POINT FORWARD.

After the devastating storm that killed over 10,000 people, the oppressive and irresponsible government of Myanmar is refusing to allow the U.S. to deliver aid to that country. In response, the United States is planning to airlift aid into the country despite the refusal of its government, dropping much needed supplies to the suffering masses below.

I call on all of you to rise up with me and say stop this aid! Why, you ask? Well, its all about sovereignty, and I'm sure our friends on the left would understand this concept.

This is a sovereign nation and we have no right to invade its airspace, no matter how many people it may help. How could we even consider doing such a heinous thing as invading the sovereignty of Myanmar just to help its suffering people?

The real question is why the left is not up in arms about the U.S. violating a nation's sovereign airspace just for the sake of rescuing people. We violated the sovereignty of Iraq, liberating millions of its citizens and all the while gaining access to vast amounts of oil! Can you imagine how upset they must be when we violate a nation's sovereignty when it doesn't serve any of our national interests? I mean, come on, violating a nation's sovereignty for a good will mission? Now that is criminal!

So, for the sake of national sovereignty, stop the aid and respect the sovereign wishes of Myanmar's sovereign government to sovereignly let the sovereign people sovereignly die within its sovereign borders. It's what Jesus would do.
