John Hawkins of Conservative Grapevine and Right Wing News hit the nail on the head with his article:"Stop Apologizing for Being American". He explores the plethora of reasons why liberals bash America and whine about the history of our nation.
It amazes me how we’ve got “people” in our country (Michael Moore, everyone on The View with the exception of Elizabeth Hasselbeck, Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, Harry Reid etc) who insist that this nation has done so much harm to the world that they can barely stand to live in it. Yet, these are the same people that insist on advocating we bring millions of more people into this country from foreign nations and accept the 12 million+ who are already here illegally. Typical liberal logic.
They are so entrenched in their ideology of self loathing patriotism that they can live with their logic while our servicemen and women pay the price for protecting their freedoms while they sit idly by doing nothing, except whine. Take for example draft dodging Clinton. Not only did he retreat to a foreign country to avoid being drafted, he looked the other way while our servicemen died abroad at the hands of both the Iranian government and Hezbollah. The Iranians governmental involvement took it from an act of terrorism to a declaration of war that was ignored by the Clinton Administration. The bombing of Khobar Towers and WTC I were prime examples as to how liberals will literally let NGO's and anti-American governments get away with murdering Americans, to avoid declaring war on a nation. I would rather fight a war on their soil than risk losing the lives of innocent people at the hands of terrorists with the aid of our President who refuses to fight for his people.
Hawkins writes: “Quite frankly, if you think America is a terrible country or isn't an incredible force for good in the world, you're either stupid, ignorant, hoodwinked, blinded, crazy, or liberal, which all too often, turns out to be a combination of all five of those characteristics.”
This is definitely a must read for today. Many kudos to Hawkins for the use of the word "hoodwinked".

I agree. Clinton should have turned down the Rhodes Scholarship so he could serve his country like TRUE patriots George Bush, Dick Cheney and Rush Limbaugh. A regular collection of Eisenhowers.
President Bush managed to graduate from one of the country's most prestigous universities and was in the military...if Clinton's refusal to serve his country wasn't enough for ya...how do you answer for him allowing the Iranian government get away with murdering our servicemen? I love how that statement is ignored for a petty cheap shot at our President.
When you come up with an excuse for WTC I and Khobar Tower let me know.
