Obamessiah Speaks to Germans

In his 'A WORLD THAT STANDS AS ONE' speech, Obama (somewhat) addressed a variety of issues.

In attempt to prove to the world that he is not a Republican or President Bush Obamessiah used the word "new" or "anew" sixteen times, in attempts to drive the point home.

The speech was pretty bland for my taste. It was toast without the butter (or jelly for those of you who prefer toast with jelly to toast with butter). There were a few parts of his speech that managed to royally irritate me...aside from the standard 'America needs you foreign nations to be on our side' parts of his speech---

"This is the moment when we must come together to save this planet. Let us resolve that we will not leave our children a world where the oceans rise and famine spreads and terrible storms devastate our lands."
Hooray! Obamessiah after acquiring America has decided that he has the power to stop Thunderstorms and Hurricanes. ::sighs:: Where would be without him?

"This is the moment when we must defeat terror and dry up the well of extremism that supports it."
Really Senator? They why have you opposed every measure to defeat terrorism exercised by his fellow countrymen?

"I know my country has not perfected itself. At times, we've struggled to keep the promise of liberty and equality for all of our people."
First of all Senator it's not your country, it's our country. No matter how popular you may be that doesn't given you dominion over America. Additionally he's so quick to talk down "his" country. If this country has had issues "struggling" with liberty or inequality, my next question is what did he do to stop it? Or was it simply more politically advantageous to sit back and watch to use it to his political advantage later...? Yes, this country has had issues with slavery and women's suffrage all of which were rectified over the years. The only thing Obama's done is spread the ideology of separation and hate through his religious beliefs and by following individuals like Rev. Jeremiah Wright...but of course that is never brought up.

Why degrade yourself when you can degrade "your" country. I'm sure Camp Obama is working on some way to allow foreign nations to vote in this years election.
