What Did You Do On Independence Day?

I was working, then drove four and half hours back to my hometown for a wedding. Many of you probably spent time with family and friends and possibly enjoyed a day off of work. But for 1,215 soldiers in Iraq, Independence Day was a day to re-enlist to serve a cause greater than themselves. Ladies, gentlemen and to RUF Readers worldwide, here are the real American patriots.

General Petraeus: “You and your comrades here have been described as America’s new greatest generation, and, in my view, you have more than earned that description. It is the greatest of honors to soldier here with you.”
