What if all I have is my regret?

Luke Boggs of Journal-Constitution did a great piece about Barry's seemingly never ending pile of "regrets" that he keeps stacking up as the November election nears.

Maria Menounos recently did an interview with the Obama family that aired a few days ago on Access Hollywood...which came as a huge surprise to me as I was not aware that Hollywood like to associate itself with Liberals (::sarcasm::). This exclusive interview allowed AH to speak to Obama's little girls for the first time while on the campaign trail. Two days after the first of the three part interview aired, Obama came out stating that he regretted allowing his children to take part in the interview. One might assume that he doesn't want the American public to think that he is using his children as a political ploy...after he already has.

Boggs writes: "In November 2006, Obama said he regretted buying property adjacent to his Chicago home from Tony Rezko, a longtime supporter and big-time fund-raiser who has since been convicted of mail and wire fraud, aiding and abetting bribery and money laundering.
In February 2007, as his presidential campaign was beginning, Obama said he regretted saying that the lives of American soldiers who died fighting in Iraq had been "wasted."
In April 2008, Obama said he regretted his choice of words when he told some well-heeled donors in San Francisco that "bitter" folks in Middle America who have lost economic hope "cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them."

And this excerpt doesn't include one of the most obvious regrets from Obama's past...which is following and exposing his family to the hateful teachings of Jeremiah Wright, 20+ year Pastor of Obama's former church. That ramifications of that regret are still being felt by Camp Obama today.

Boggs continues: "You have to make tough calls, even when they may be politically costly. I can't help wondering what Obama might regret in four years as president. What might he regret doing —- or not doing —- on the world stage? What might he regret saying —- or not saying —- to Putin or Kim Jong-il or Ahmadinejad?"

We here at RUF don't mind calling the Freshman Senator from Illinois out on his countless flip-flops, but shouldn't the Senator himself realize that the one word he is beginning to use in his campaign more than "change" or "hope" is "regret"...?

President Bush, for better or for worse, made his decision(s) not based on the political climate, but on what he thought was right for our country and her citizens. Although their have been times where the public did not agree, he has kept us safe and made our country better for it. We have not suffered another 9/11 because he failed (and possibly would later REGRET) not taking action on 9/12. That should be recognized.

Here is my regret: I regret that the country that I love has been presented this laughable, inexperienced, incapable & unknowledgeable candidate as one of the front-runners to be leader of the Free World.

Additionally, I regret that a great number of people, my fellow Americans, refuse to become educated on what this guy really is and will continue to follow him blindly.

Boggs ends with the following: "Depending on what happens in November, we may begin to find out next January. When we do, some voters may well have regrets of their own. "
