One of the most consistent messages we've heard through out Barry's campaign trail is "We need to get our troops out of Iraq. Bring them home. We'll be out within 16 months" .... and now (not surprisingly) it appears that what the Iraqi conflict needs (which according to Barry was the wrong move and the wrong direction for our country) is not an immediate troop withdraw, like he's been promising for months now.
Evidently, the Illinois first term Senator would like to listen to what the men (and women) on the ground have to say, before bringing them home. Is it possible he skipped right through his political play book and has been reading from McCain's? This guy is really attempting to take EVERY position possible on a number of issues from gay rights to the 2nd Amendment to the War in Iraq. I didn't think it was possible for him to Kerry-this up more than he has, but I stand corrected.
Barry says: "When I go to Iraq and I have a chance to talk to some of the commanders on the ground, I'm sure I'll have more information and will continue to refine my policies."
So what is it Barry? The War was a mistake we don't belong there bring everybody home or wait you think we need to withdraw in a timely fashion...because we're making progress....well shoot that certainly doesn't fly with my policies...Guess I'll just have to change my mind again.
I'm all for bringin our troops home, safetly, with respect and dignity, once the job is finished. Barry is all for bringing the troops home as long as it takes him into the Oval Office. Therein lies the difference between politicaly pandering liberals and military lovin' Republicans.
Yeah, I said it.
