Could it get much worse for Rick Noriega? The latest Rasmussen poll shows Texas Senator John Cornyn with a huge lead over his opponent, state rep Rick Noriega, raking in 52% of the vote to Noriega's 38%. We've been covering this race pretty closely here on RUF, and one begins to wonder if Rick Noriega shouldn't just go ahead and drop out. He's making this race about as boring as it could be.
Lucky for us, the campaigns have agreed to two debates this October, one to be held in Dallas, the other in Houston. Noriega, of course, wants more than just those two debates so he may dazzle us with more of his...Oh I dunno, more of his dazzlingly shiny head. Or something, you tell me.
Say, here's a good question. By show of hands, who feels embarassed for Rick Noriega? Anyone? No?

I want Barbara Ann Radnofsky!
Radnofsky would have been an interesting race if she ran again, but Noriega is a joke.
Why is this guy even trying, that is if he is trying.
I'm asking myself the same question. Personally, I think that he had potential to be a competitive candidate, but no one has paid any attention. As a Democrat this makes me sad.
