Dems, Obama To Women & Minorities: DROP DEAD!

It all began with Hillary Clinton and her eighteen million votes. Democrats said, “thanks, but no thanks,” when they hung Hillary Clinton and her supporters out to dry during the Democratic primary this year. Think about that - Democrats told the entire population of 27 congressional districts that they’re vote doesn’t count.

This was a very bold, and ironically, Clintonesque move on the part of Barack Obama and the Democratic Party.

In addition to the all important female voters who supported Hillary, the Clinton’s other top two minority groups were victims of Obama’s vice presidential selection process and the Democratic primary: blacks and gays.

Not since the Clinton Administration have these two groups been manipulated on such a large scale by Democrats.

When Obama and the Democratic Party passed up Hillary, the most qualified Democrat, for the position of vice presidential running mate to Obama, they threw, according to the latest census, 143,368,343 American women under the bus. Their message was “no you can’t.”

Leave it up to Democrats to tell the majority of our population that they are not good enough to lead in this country. But we aren’t just talking about any majority, we are talking about the strongest, most talented group of women in the world.

An estimated 202,000 women serve our country on active duty in the armed forces. In addition to that compelling figure, is the fact that there are 917,000 women owned businesses in this county.

What kind of message does that send to these millions of Americans who help drive our economy and keep our nation safe both here and abroad? DROP DEAD!

This was the same message sent to the 65,000 gays and lesbians serving in our military when Clinton enacted his Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy which was designed to legalize discrimination in our armed services and prevent countless patriots from selflessly serving their country.

Now that the nation’s most qualified woman has been placed on the Republican ballot, Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and other Democrats are attempting to wage the war of a lifetime to brand Alaska Governor Sarah Palin with their message of inferiority.

If I were Sarah Palin, I would consider these attacks to be the compliment of a lifetime!

Anyone who receives harsher criticism than Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter from left-wing bigots must be doing one hell of a job.

There are primarily five things that Democrats despise most:

-A secure homeland
-Civil rights & individual liberties
-Free Enterprise & a booming economy
-Education of minorities
-Republicans who walk the walk

Sarah Palin is the only elected official, in my research, whose record is impeccable in all five of those areas. In the eyes of not just Barack Obama and the Democrats, but everyone in the good ol’ boys network, Sarah Palin is the anti-Christ simply because she will kick them all in the balls and make them spit up blood before she wipes them out completely.

I guess Democrats will just have to learn the hard way that sometimes you just can’t send a man to do a woman’s job. Democrats, and those like Obama, who despise change and progress to no end, picked a battle with a woman whose record shows that they just can’t win.

Pretty soon, from sea to shining sea, America will be littered with the bodies of those who dared to tell one woman, Sarah Palin, she wasn’t good enough.

Good analysis. Go Palin! She's going to gut 'em and fry 'em just like we Southerners do fish.

Sure Clinton enacted the Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy, but President Bush has had 8 years to urge policy makers to throw that out. He has done nothing after several highly qualified men and women have been discharged from service.
-A secure homeland does not include building a wall around the United States. It means talking with allies to build a stronger coalition.
-Civil rights & individual liberties are important to us all, which is why I am against illagal wiretapping and having the government review what books I check out from the library.
-Free Enterprise & a booming economy does not include borrowing money from China to give to the American people to help stimulate the economy. Mine went to bills.
-Education of minorities includes affirmative action, sure. I think that once all of our public schools can be equally funded we will have a level playing field, which will mean no more affirmative action.
-Republicans who walk the walk by invading another country without a clear plan of attack. Slogans and soundbites won't get the job done.

Clinton not only enacted Dont Ask Dont Tell, but he also implemented the Defense of Marriage Act which made it impossible for gay/lesbian couples to marry in this country...he has done more to hurt the gay community that President Bush ever has...the only difference is that at least Pres. Bush is open about it. The Clintons (Bill and Hillary both) want to seem like they are for gay rights, when in fact they are not.

As a Mexican-American who came to this country legally and as someone who has lived in a border town for the majority of my life I can say that the measures we are taking as far as fence building won't solve the immigration problem, but will help to stop the drug flow into this country, keep the people running the mafia's and cartels out and hopefully deter illegal immigration...all of which directly impact Homeland Security.

As far as "illegal wiretapping" goes...there is a small thing called the Social Contract (locke, hobbes, russeau take your pick) that describes the need for individuals to give up certain liberties to attain protection from a governing body that they would be able to attain otherwise. We understand this as Americans. DHS and the CIA are not going to listen in on my conversation about my friends wedding, the latest episode of the Hills OR my boy problems...they aren't. They will however monitor my actions if I go to a public library and search "how to build a bomb" while planning my latest trip to Mecca on Hotwire.com and talking on my cell phone about my recent jihad.

The public school system will never be equitable as long as schools keep funding themselves based on the property taxes of their outlining neighborhoods. Affirmative action does nothing to help the public school system. As a minority who is soon to apply to law school, I'd like to know that my acceptance letter will come as a result of my years of hardwork and my gpa rather than a box that I check that states "female" and "Mexican American". If you really want to look at a help either minorities or economically disadvantaged students achieve success in school look towards the School Choice issue highlighted by many Republicans and shot down by liberals time and time again for fear of hurting their precious teachers union campaign contributions.

Slogans and soundbites will not get the job done...but experience and clear ration sense of foreign policy will. Which is why Obama is clearly not the right choice come November. OBAMA IS A SLOGAN! "Change" or "Hope"...He IS a soundbite. The man turned down McCain's offer for Townhall debates because he can't speak if he has to come up with what he has to say on his own...or without the help of his trusty podium.

::exhales:: whew. That was fun.

How is Palin the most-qualified woman in the country? There are tons of women in both parties who have been governors for longer. Plus Condoleeza Rice and a host of other women.

Sure there have been a plethora of qualified women who may or may not have done a good job at the position the problem is 1) they have never stepped up to the plate or 2) The few who did were slaughtered b/c they are female...

Take Hillary for example...she was far more qualified by Obama, but she was shuned by the democratic party and Obama himself. Look at all the attacks they MSM is coming up with against Palin's dedication as mother alone, what woman would want to subject herself or her family to that??? The point is that Palin is one of the few women in the country who is qualified and who has the wherewithal to stick it out. Look at the "inspriation" women have from the left side of the spectrum: Hillary who was shut down or Pelosi who stated that the demos would have the troops home and lower gas prices within the first 100 days of their terms...it's two years later and we are STILL in Iraq (and rightfully so) and gas prices are still ridiculously high....Not much to look up to there...

It took a Republican woman to actually break the glass ceiling the demos have been talking about...

Oh! And Condi was actually urged by many people in the Republican party to run for President, but she is such a stand-up lady that she stated she could no conceive leaving her position as Secretary of State vacant while she campaigned for another office...she saw it as doing a huge disservice to her country --- to pursue political gain.

Makes me wanna vote for her more.

I absolutely agree, I was just taking issue with the description of Palin as "the nation's most qualified woman"

I'm fascinated by the tone of this thread... the implication that Republicans have done something fabulously innovative and praiseworthy by putting a woman on the ticket.... as if democrats hadn't been there/done that long ago.
And putting a woman on the ticket who makes removing women's rights a priority... that's not my idea of true woman.
And as a public school teacher, I find it positively outlandish that you would claim democrats are not champions of education for minorities. When you, the Republican that wants to "walk the walk," are ready to come to my inner city classroom and show me your dedication, we'll talk.
You obviously have no idea what the reality looks like in a classroom working with minority children.
