Oprah Shuns Palin

Billionaire Oprah Winfrey (D-Chicago), has snubbed the most talked about woman in media Gov. Sarah Palin. Although Oprah has officially thrown her support behind Obamessiah and had him on her show to discuss (among other things) his book she now refuses to have Gov. Palin.

She cites some BOGUS reasons in an official statement acquired by Matt Drudge of the Drudgereport: "At the beginning of this Presidential campaign when I decided that I was going to take my first public stance in support of a candidate, I made the decision not to use my show as a platform for any of the candidates. I agree that Sarah Palin would be a fantastic interview, and I would love to have her on after the campaign is over".

Newsflash for good ol' Opie: Sarah Palin will most likely be too busy after the campaign to sit down for an interview considering she'll be preparing to help run the country. Think about it...

She never had Obama on as a guest after he "officially" announced his candidacy for President. So that means she never used her show as a platform for a candidate? Right. She's only used her person, her brand, her influence and most importantly, her money to endorse Obama. But since he's hasn't been on her show recently, she's totally non-partisan.

Whatever, I imagine the backlash against her by her predominantly female, middle-America viewership will provide all the retribution necessary.

Doubtful. Americans love Oprah more than pretty much everyone.
